Development Process
Initial black and white storyboard
The storyboard process began here by using a mixture of photographic imagery and illustration.
This storyboard began to establish the imagery and transitions I would use to create a flowing story around the facts I'd gathered from primary and secondary research.

Style frame experiments - putting the storyboard into colour
Having not worked too much with photography in my previous animation experience I wanted to experiment with a mixed media style.
However, once this storyboard had been coloured and in an animatic (see below), the imagery and colours weren't working well for me.
So I went back to the drawing board and my research to create a new style.
Final style storyboard
After exploring new styles I landed on one with a more illustrative focus combining it with textures and patterns.
Viewing the new style in an animatic (see below) I felt much more settled in with the style and design for this piece.
